A Disney lover and horror film fanatic, she is also a devoted wife and mother whose personal journey deeply informs her work. While pregnant with her son, she experienced the devastating loss of her brother to depression -- a loss that profoundly shaped her perspective on grief, mental health, and resilience. Just a year later, during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, she lost her father to kidney cancer. These experiences, alongside her own battles with mental illness, continue to inspire the emotional depth in her art. Beyond the canvas, Brescia finds joy in reading fantasy and romance, as well as exploring subjects like psychology, anthropology, and human communication. She’s also fascinated by astrology and the interconnection of the universe, believing that creativity is as much about emotion and spirit as it is about skill.
